CMV adds new cruises for next year
Cruise and Maritime Voyages has added five new cruises for 2019.
The new Magellan and Columbus sailings will include a British Isles cruise, the Norwegian Fjords, the Baltic, southern Norway, and a Canary Islands and Madeira cruise.
Three of the extra cruises will operate in April and two will take place in November.
"This is good news for the large number of our passengers who like to travel during the early or late season and are yet to book," said head of marketing Mike Hall.
"Demand for 2019 has been remarkable with a waitlist in place for many popular itineraries. These new cruises have come at the right time to meet the demand for our most popular destinations."
Magellan will sail on three new cruises from London Tilbury. Sailing on April 3 is a 10-night cruise around the British Isles and a journey along the River Seine to Rouen, with a visit to Amsterdam and Honfleur.
On April 13, Magellan sets sail for the Norwegian Fjords and includes calls into Geiranger, Flam and Eidfjord on a seven-night itinerary.
She will set sail again on April 20 on an Easter Hidden Baltic cruise visiting Scandinavia, Germany and more unusual ports in Lithuania and Poland.
Columbus will sail on a new six-night cruise from Tilbury on to southern Norway, that includes Oslo and Stavanger, and on November 10 she head to the Canary Islands and Madeira on a a 19-night cruise including calls in Casablanca and Cadiz.
