Colorado to appoint new tourism director
The Colorado Tourism Office is searching for a new director to replace Al White, who is moving on.
White is to become senior advisor to the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), effective July 1.
In this new position, he will advise the Colorado Tourism Office, Colorado Brand and Marketing, Outdoor Recreation Industry Office and Communications, as well as lead OEDIT’s legislative strategy.
The hunt for a new Colorado Tourism Office director is underway, and White will play a key role in the hiring process.
Meantime, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has named Dave Lorenz acting vice president of Travel Michigan.
