Companion special on Gulf Air

Gulf Air has released first and business class fares from Sydney which offer a 50 per cent discount to a companion when two people travel together. 

The deal applies to flights to London, Dublin, Paris, Frankfurt Athens, Istanbul and Larnaca; Singapore and a range of Middle East destinations. 

For travel to Europe the first class return fare is $6924 and $3462 for a companion whilst business class is $5604 and $2802 respectively. Taxes are around $385 per person. 

For Middle East destinations including Cairo, Amman, Damascus, Beirut and cities in the Gulf region the fares are $6484 and $3242 for first class and $5384 and $2692 for business class – plus taxes of about  $330. 

For Singapore fares are $3846 and $1923 for first and  $2748 and $1374 for business, plus taxes of around  $236 per person. 

The fares are on sale now until February 28 for travel until June 30. The airline is expecting to begin the introduction of their new generation flat Skybeds in first and business class during June.
