Comtec enhances selling system with dynamic packaging capability

Friday, 07 Nov, 2006 0

Travel technology provider Comtec is enabling agents and operators to search for package holidays as well as individual components with the latest release of its selling solution.

WebSellPro V2 enables travel companies to research and dynamically package components from a wide range of suppliers such as bed-banks and low-cost carriers.

Comtec’s product director Ed Whiting said: “There are solutions out there in the industry but having that dynamic packaging capability on top of the really rich tour operator search is a first.”

The technology, which can be used across shops, call-centres and online, also means operators and agents can manage their own product alongside third party supplier product and prioritise what consultants see.

Caribbean specialist ITC Classics will be among the first to use the enhanced system.

Comtec is now working on technology to enable simultaneous searches of package holidays and individual components for the next release of WebSellPro.
