Comtec solution provides live sales analysis
Comtec has developed software that allows agency branches and call centres access to live trading figures.
Agency / Call Centre Display Board provides instant access to booking data, allowing managers in call centres and agency branches to analyse the performance of individual staff members or groups. The information can also be broadcast on display screens to allow staff to monitor their performance against targets.
Comtec group director, Daman Singh said the display screen feature would be of greatest value in call centres. He told TravelMole: “It is a real spur to the staff to see how they are doing.”
The new solution, available to agencies and call centres using TravelCat, can compare trading with targets, and allows comparison with previous time periods. The information can be displayed in a textual or graphical format.
Mr Singh said agents could also gather live information on how well individual operators were selling. He told TravelMole: “It wasn’t that long ago that you had to wait until the next morning to see how well trading had gone on a particular day”.
Mr Singh said loading historical data onto the system and operating it was simple, so it requires no extra training. He added that he couldn’t put a price on Agency / Call Centre Display Board, because it varied according to how large or complex the solution required. Comtec’s products are available to agents in the UK and Ireland.
