Conrad Treasury Named “Australasia’s Best” at the World Travel Awards
Conrad Treasury Brisbane was named “Australasia’s Leading Casino Resort” at the World Travel Awards held in Brussels on Monday night.
The awards event took place at the London Royal Opera House on the eve of the opening of the famous annual World Travel Market.
As in previous years, tens of thousands of travel professionals had cast their votes online to determine winners in various categories.
The 2005 World Travel Awards were supported by many media organisations, including BBC Worldwide and international tourism television channels.
The Conrad group was also honoured with the ultimate award of “World’s Leading Luxury Hotel Brand”. Other Conrad properties in Asia, Europe and the USA also took out prizes.
Conrad Treasury Brisbane Chief Operating Officer, Xavier Walsh, said this most recent award win by Conrad Treasury was a truly prestigious award on an international stage.
“I am delighted by this win, particularly as it is on an international level and we were voted number one by travel industry professionals.
“Conrad Treasury Brisbane is recognized as setting benchmarks in the industry and this distinction is a real tribute to the team at Conrad Treasury.”
