Copper Mountain ski season launched
Copper Mountain, Colorado, will welcome its 40th season in the skiing business on Friday when the chairlift starts turning for the 2012/2013 snow season.
Guests can experience riding and skiing from the American Eagle chairlift and two Woodward at Copper terrain parks with 20 features and several jumps, catering to all ability levels.
New this season, Copper Mountain’s Alpine Rush Zip Line will allow two guests to fly side-by-side 30 feet above Copper’s West Lake ice skating rink.
The flight travels 300 feet across the lake, reaching speeds of up to 30mph.
