Cosmofil on Transmanche ferries
Passengers on Transmanche ferries between Newhaven and Dieppe can now « Top Up Their French on Board » with Cosmofil founder Babette Kundrat. Cosmofil ltd markets holiday accommodations in Europe where hosts provide their guests with linguistic support and interaction with the locals. The French sessions on ferries are a great way to increase visibility but also to promote the objectives of The Cosmofil Foundation, a charity which aims to promote foreign language learning and a better interaction between the countries in Europe.
During 50 minutes, participants revive their rusty French or learn essential phrases with games and role plays. The emphasis is on practical holiday French from “no French at all†to “near fluent French†levels. Participants’ feedback is very positive: “a fun and useful way to pass the timeâ€, “I did not know I remembered so much from school. You’ve made an old woman very happyâ€, “can’t wait to practise what I’ve learnt in real situation†etc. Babette Kundrat says:†It is great to work on a Transmanche ferry and I could not wish to work with nicer people.†www.cosmofil.com
