Cosmos leads pilgrimage to Krakow
Cosmos will manage travel and tour arrangements for an estimated 2000 Australians taking part in World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow, Poland.
The appointment was announced by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference after a six-month selection process.
The Australian Catholic Bishops Delegate for Youth, Bishop Anthony Fisher, said young Australians would have a great opportunity to visit the homeland of St Pope John Paull II and encounter Pope Francis through the WYD experience.
Bishop Fisher said Cosmos has "an established pilgrimage operation and provides comprehensive infrastructure to support us on this important faith journey".
As part of the Globus family of brands, Cosmos offers a specialist programme of religious tours throughout Europe and the Holy Lands.
Cosmos and Globus recently released their 2015 Religious Travel brochure in Australia, offering 10 faith-based tours in Poland, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.
World Youth Day will be held in Krakow from July 25 to August 1, 2016.
