Costa showcases two new ships online
Costa Cruises’ two new ships – Costa Luminosa and Costa Pacifica – will be the centrepiece of a joint christening in Genoa on June 5.
The two ships, the 13th and 14th Costa fleet members, were both built by Fincantieri for a total of about €900 million.
They are currently being fitted out in Marghera (Venice) and Genoa-Sestri Ponente.
Details of the event and the new ships are now online on each ship’s dedicated website: www.luminosa.costacruises.co.uk and www.pacifica.costacruises.co.uk.
Using pictures, videos and music, the Luminosa website features amenities available on board, including 4D cinema, rollerblading track, golf simulator, Playstation World and the Samsara Spa with the Kinesis room.
On www.pacifica.costacruises.co.uk, visitors will be able to sample ‘the new form of music’, which constitutes an integral part of the cruise experience on board the Costa Pacifica.
There is the chance to listen to the 29 pieces of music that form the exclusive compilation, specially arranged by composer Mauro Pagani, which will become the ‘sound track’ to the cruise holiday.
Costa will add a ‘virtual tour’ of all the areas on the ship soon.
