Countdown to Responsible Tourism Awards deadline
The deadline for entries to the Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards is less than two months away.
Nominations should be made by June 15.
The awards are a collaboration between online travel directory responsibletravel.com, which founded and organises the awards, UK media partners Telegraph Travel and Geographical Magazine, BBC World News, and World Travel Market, which hosts the awards ceremony.
A record number of more than 1,900 nominations were received last year from travellers around the world keen to share their knowledge on the best in the industry.
Last year’s awards winner Gamewatchers Safaris & Porini Camps is offering a safari holiday in Kenya to encourage nominations.
The prize includes seven nights accommodation (1 night Tribe Hotel, 2 nights Amboseli Porini Camp, 2 nights Ol Pejeta Rhino Camp, 2 Nights Mara Porini Camp) and return economy flights from Heathrow to Nairobi.
