County Car Rentals special feature
County Car Rentals is a real family business, with owners Bernard and Helen Loughran’s hands firmly on the helm.
Bernard and Helen are taking part in the Tourism Ireland Roadshow travelling around Australia at the moment and are doing so as they have a very long established relationship with agents and wholesalers in Australia and are here to meet with their network of travel agents who support them and also their key partner wholesalers – Driveaway, Autohome Rentals, 2UK, World Cars and the large ethnic producers including Georgina Finn at Celtic Travel.
The Loughrans say that Australia is very important market for them and they are the largest independent fleet in Ireland, with a very large portion of the fleet at any one time on rental to Australians!
They complemented Australians as the best drivers they have and they say that they can prove it with Aussies having fewer accidents.
They also say that a point of difference is that they take a personal interest in their customers going in and out and have devised a number of policies and procedures to assist in making that process is smooth and trouble free.
Bernard had a lovely typically Irish phrase which described his business philosophy: –
“We don’t mind who people rent from as long as its County”.
They have over 500 cars in their fleet, based mainly in Dublin, where they have 5 bases, but they offer a fully comprehensive nationwide Ireland service.
