Cox and Kings takes on former ministers to lead tours

Friday, 13 Feb, 2008 0

Former Cabinet Ministers Lord Hurd and Lord Hattersley, and political correspondent John Sergeant have been enrolled by Cox and Kings to accompany tours in 2008.

The three will join clients in China, Cuba and India respectively and will entertain and educate them with a series of formal and informal talks.

Cox & Kings senior product manager Nigel Hosking said: “our clients want to come away from their holiday with as much knowledge and experience as possible.

“While the local tour leaders are experts on their country and its sites, and can provide valuable insight into the local cultures and traditions, having a well-known and respected expert on the trip adds a whole new dimension.”

Previous expert leaders have included Martin Bell, Kate Adie, Prue Leith and Sandy Gall.
