Cox & Kings has appointed a national account manager for the first time in a bid to boost agency sales.
Greg Thurston will dedicate his time to travelling around visiting agents and will work with agency sales manager Catherine Baer.
Cox & Kings reports a healthy 2010 in terms of working with the trade, reporting a 25% year on year increase in revenue on business created by travel agents.
Ms Baer said: “It’s exciting times for Cox & Kings. I’m really looking forward to working with Greg. Having his experience and expertise and a full time presence on the road is great news and can only help to forge better and stronger ties with travel agents.”
Thurston worked in similar roles for Explore Worldwide and Funway Holidays.
