Cruise conference returns to Singapore
Cruise Shipping Asia Pacific returns to Singapore on September 17-18. It will be held at the new Marina Bay Cruise Centre.
The event will include a tradeshow, conference programme and a social networking programme with all members of the industry invited to attend; from travel agents and tour operators to destination managers, ship owners and operators.
This year the two-day conference focuses on "Optimising Opportunities in the Asia-Pacific Cruise Industry", providing a platform for stakeholders to assess the pace and direction of growth in the area’s burgeoning cruise sector.
Led by a panel of regional and international cruise industry experts, delegates can learn from sessions such as: ‘Designing Shore Excursions’ that really work, ‘Partnering with Airlines to develop the Air-Cruise Model’, and ‘Destination Planning and Development’.
The complimentary travel agent training programme will also return to Cruise Shipping Asia-Pacific in 2012.
International speakers confirmed for the event include: Christina Siaw, CEO, Singapore Cruise Centre; Richard Doyle, head of sales & marketing, Captain Cook Cruises; Brett Jardine, general manager, International Cruise Council of Australasia and Gavin Smith, MD, Royal Caribbean Cruises Australia.
