Cruise line reduces check-in time to seconds

Tuesday, 29 Sep, 2005 0

Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises’ online check-in program is now available fleet-wide.

The program, offered in both English and Spanish, reduces guest check-in time to mere seconds at the pier.

The program is called “Xpress Pass” for Celebrity and “SetSail” for Royal Caribbean.

Users can fill out all cruise documents before arriving at the pier.

So far, about 70% of guests are using the online check-in program, according to the cruise line.

The system will be available in the future in other languages.
