Cruise line will show World Cup matches
Norwegian Cruise Line is to screen World Cup football matches on its cruises this summer.
All of England’s matches, as well as other key games, will be shown live on board thanks to a tie-up with TV channel SPORT 24.
Vice president and general manager international Francis Riley said the decision was made in response to demands of UK guests.
"Fans won’t have to fight for space in the pub as we will be playing the games in multiple venues, so people can relax and enjoy their holiday while experiencing a great sporting atmosphere on board," he said.
"For those who aren’t football fanatics, there will still be plenty of ways to escape by enjoying the spa, gym, pools, restaurants or one of the many bars, lounges and public areas found throughout the ship."
The Brazil tournament kicks off on June 12.
