Cruise passengers injured after gangway collapses

Several cruise guests were injured after a gangway collapsed during a port call in Panama.

Norwegian Cruise Line hasn’t said how many guests were injured or what the injuries are.

Some were taken to a medical facility.

“We have dispatched our CARE Team to Panama City to offer additional support to these guests,” a NCL spokesperson said.

The Norwegian Encore is on a 21-day Panama Canal cruise and arrives in Miami on Sunday.
