Cruise ships return to Key West
Key West welcomed its first cruise ships of the pandemic era, ending a 20-month pause.
The Crystal Serenity called at Pier B at the Opal Key West Resort and Marina, while Azamara Quest arrived at Mallory Pier over the weekend.
More scheduled calls are expected in December and January but the ship call schedule is not being publicly shared due to the strong opposition to unregulated cruise passenger traffic.
Key West voted to limit cruise traffic but that was nixed by the state.
