Crystal appoints Jack Anderson as acting CEO
Crystal Cruises named Jack Anderson interim president and CEO, effective from today 2 October.
He takes over from Tom Wolber who has been CEO for three years and is stepping down.
Anderson has enjoyed a long career in the cruise industry and was senior advisor to Wolber.
He was previously Crystal’s Vice Chairman and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
"Jack’s history with Crystal runs deep; with nearly a decade of senior leadership and executive consultant roles at the company – combined with his 30-plus years of cruise industry experience – he possesses a profound knowledge of the Crystal brand and the luxury cruise market," said Lim Kok Thay, CEO and Chairman of parent company, Genting Hong Kong.
Anderson held similar senior leadership positions with Seabourn, Holland America Line Windstar Cruises, and Carnival Corp.
At Crystal, Anderson had been overseeing the company’s introduction of river ships and and its expedition vessel, which is set to launch next year.
