CTO promises fun, and rum
The Caribbean Tourism Organisation UK will host a four-hour consumer event showcasing Caribbean cuisine, rum and music at London’s Vinopolis later this month.
On Saturday 25 September, between 4pm and 8pm, 10 exhibiting Caribbean tourist boards will give visitors the chance to sample a wide selection of Caribbean rums plus a range of local gastronomic specialities.
Tickets are available from the CTO in advance from £24 per person or £28 on the door (one child under 12 years admitted free of charge per ticket-holding adult, children aged 12 to 18 years £10 with proof of age).
Every adult visitor will also receive a goody bag, which contains information on travel to the region and travel deals, as well as giveaways from sponsors and the 2011 Caribbean guide.
Sandals and Beaches Resorts, British Airways and Aruba will be sponsoring the event.
