Cunard and P&O welcome 24-hour sport
Cunard and P&O ships will soon have sport round the clock with 24-hour sports channel, Sport 24.
The channel, distributed by IMG Media, will be shown in public bars and lounges on board all three Cunard and seven P&O cruise ships and is the first-ever dedicated 24/7 sports channel specifically designed for the cruise industry.
During 2013, the Australian Open, Formula 1™, US Open Tennis, Wimbledon, the British and Irish Lions Rugby Tour and the Bundesliga will feature as well as Premier League matches.
Cunard and P&O Cruises executive vice-president operations, David Noyes, said: "Sport was one of the true highlights of 2012 and continues to play a large part in people’s lives."
The schedule for Sport 24 will be known in advance which will enable passengers to plan their days while on board.
