Cyprus focus for Apartments Abroad
Nearly 40 new hotels, private villas and apartment complexes in Cyprus have been introduced by Apartments Abroad in the first stage of expansion in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The accommodation-only specialist is directly contracting properties in the region in response to growing demand which has been reflected in recent weeks by the launch of new flights by Monarch and easyJet for the summer.
The operator will be completing the expansion by finalising contracts over the next few weeks for around 100 further properties on Corfu, Crete, Kos, Rhodes and Zante.
Managing director Ian Thirlwall said: “The Eastern Med is going to be a strong performer for this summer, boosted in no small part by particularly good value accommodation and better low cost air links from the UK to support non-packaged holidays.
“Our move on Cyprus is just the first phase of what is a significant expansion for us in a region for which we previously have not been particularly well known.
“We’re spending considerable time and effort in ensuring we’ve got the right properties at the right price so that we can deliver added value to agents through a combination of competitiveness and service”
The Cyprus properties span all grades across resorts including Ayia Napa, Coral Bay, Limassol, Paphos, Polis and Protaras.
New self-catering options include a selection of two, three and four bedroom villas with private pools in the Coral Beach, Polis and Latchi areas priced this summer from £90 per person per week, with infants staying free.
