Dallas/Fort Worth unveils new traveler’s mobile app
Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport has launched an official mobile app for smartphones, updating customers on flights and giving information on parking, shops, restaurants and airport services.
The DFW Airport mobile app is currently available as a free download at the iTunes App Store, Google’s Android Play Store and BlackBerry App World.
The app gives travelers real-time flight information and updates as well as a "within five minutes of my gate feature" that sources food and shopping options near users’ boarding gates.
The app was designed on feedback given from actual DFW passengers who volunteered as beta testers over a period of two months last year.
The DFW Airport mobile app is currently available for the Apple iOS platform, the Google Android platform and the BlackBerry platform.
