Darwin Escapes redevelops Bath holiday park
A luxury lodge retreat opens in Bath next month following a 10-month £4.5 million redevelopment of the former Newton Mill Holiday Park.
Operated by Darwin Escapes and available for rent through Hoseasons, the newly-named Bath Mill Lodge Retreat has 63 studio and two, three and four bedroom self-catering lodges.
It is aimed at leisure and business travellers and the MICE market, with new conference and events space.
Darwin Escapes MD Lindsey Bamford said "Not only will we be welcoming tourists and holidaymakers, but we will be working hard to attract business travellers who are looking for a home-from-home experience with a luxury hotel feel.
"We will also be looking to raise our profile as a venue for conferences, functions and events, making it a highly valuable new addition for the Bath area."
The retreat opens on August 14, with prices starting from £242 for a three night stay in studio accommodation sleeping two people. One night stays are also available.
Darwin Escapes now has 14 resorts, retreats and holiday parks located around the UK, including Cheddar Woods in Somerset, Piran Meadows in Cornwall and Beach Cove in Devon.
