Dates and venue for the 2008 Incentive Show [formerly Motivation & Incentive Expo] confirmed for 2008
The Incentive Show, [formerly Motivation and Incentive Expo] which was held in July this year, is Australasia’s only marketplace that covers the entire spectrum of incentive marketing – from reward merchandise and meeting destinations to motivation events and specialist marketing agencies.
Visitors are key-executives at corporate end-user or reseller companies that use products and solutions to help motivate, engage and reward employees, salespeople, channel partners and customers.
Organiser of the event, Mark Harvey announced today the 2008 show will have a stronger push into the incentive travel and meetings sector.
“We will have a greater focus in 2008 on incentive travel, corporate meetings and motivation events,” said Harvey. “Research conducted amongst visitors at this year’s event provided strong evidence that we need to strengthen the travel component of the show.”
“Meetings and travel are key components to motivating and rewarding staff, channel partners and customers so it’s important we have plenty of options available on the show floor for visitors when it comes to this sector,” said Harvey
To ensure the expanded travel section is highlighted at the show, a dedicated area on the show floor has been allocated.
Exhibitors will include leading travel organizations including major airlines, hotel chains, destination management companies, and tourism boards.
Incentive Show is uniquely different from any other exhibition in Australia in that it attracts a higher percentage of corporate end-users specifically interested in incentives, reward and recognition.
“We are not trying to be an event for “event organisers,” said Harvey. “There are plenty of other exhibitions servicing that market, our primary focus is to deliver end-users who are seeking help and ideas for motivating and rewarding the people important to their business.”
Our visitors are key executives in sales, marketing and HR roles at the largest companies in Australia. Yes, we invite the event organisers such as PCO’s, DMC’s and meeting planners but our primary focus is the end-user, who more often than not has the final say on where their next incentive trip or sales meeting will be,” said Harvey.
