The formation of Nascar in the US will forever be associated with Daytona, Florida.

From the very early days of running races half on the beach and half on road to the modern-day Daytona International Speedway which houses some of the most iconic races, the city will always be famed.

Still, you’d be mistaken for thinking that is all that Daytona has to offer

From glorious beaches, art, history, and entertainment to some of the best food in the sunshine state, Daytona is a must visit destination.

We took the opportunity to chat with a local restaurateur who was born and has lived in the area all his life to find out more.
