Dedicated insurance website for Holiday Extras

Thursday, 12 Jun, 2006 0

Holiday Extras is offering up to 15% commission to agents through a dedicated travel insurance website.

The site – www.quote-me-travel-insurance.co.uk – carries a web link which enables agents to earn commission from their own websites when customer book direct online.

The company has introduced automated renewals, online medical screening and a staff travel insurance scheme through the site.

Holiday Extras has launched the online service to give agents the chance to sell insurance while complying with FSA regulations in addition to a telephone referral service introduced in January 2005.

Head of sales Shelley Roberts said: “Not only will our new weblink facility and automated annual renewals make it easier for agents to earn commission on insurance and comply with FSA regulations, but they can also take advantage of our very competitive rates when buying their own travel insurance through our new staff insurance scheme.”

Agents’ rates start at £8.20 for a week in Europe, while European multi-trip cover starts at £18.29.
