Delta adds Hawaii flights
Delta Air Lines has announced two new US domestic routes to Hawaii.
The airline is bringing back its longest domestic flight – Boston to Honolulu and will also launch service connecting Minneapolis to Maui starting December 19, 2026.
“Hawaii plays an important role in our long-haul leisure network. This expansion strengthens connectivity from key U.S. hubs while giving customers more choice in how they reach the islands,” said Amy Martin, Delta VP of Network Planning.
On the Boston-Honolulu route, flights will initially run daily during the peak festive holiday season and then four times a week for the rest of the winter.
The Minneapolis-St. Paul to Maui route will have five weekly flights throughout the winter with daily service during the peak season including spring break.
Delta will deploy the Airbus A330-300 on both these routes.
Delta is also adding more flights across its Hawaii route network.
This will result in added frequencies and an extended flying season.
To Honolulu, there will be additional flights from Atlanta, and New York JFK.
Salt Lake City and Los Angeles to Kona will see increased frequencies too.
