Delta has new CFO
Experienced finance executive Michael Palumbo was named the new executive VP and CFO for Delta Airlines.
Mr Palumbo has held several executive positions in the airline industry. He was CFO and treasurer at Western Airlines. He was also assistant treasurer at Pan American World Airways.
He is currently a consultant with New York-based Airline Financial Services. He replaces Michele Burns, who resigned.
In an unrelated development, Delta announced jointly a two-way, code-sharing program with China Airlines for flights between the US and Taiwan.
