Delta heads West
Delta Air Lines will grow its Los Angeles capacity by 12% this spring and summer, with expanded service to 14 destinations and eight new markets, it announced yesterday.
It also will offer full flat-bed seating in BusinessElite on four of its seven flights to New York’s JFK Airport beginning this summer.
The airline will add routes to San Jose, California, and San Jose, Costa Rica, as well as Nashville, Seattle, and Spokane, and restart seasonal service to Boston, Anchorage, and Bozeman, Montana.
Delta also said it expects to begin codesharing on flights between Los Angeles and London-Heathrow airport with Virgin Atlantic Airways later this year.
Los Angeles is one of several Delta facilities undergoing significant renovations to its check-in and arrival areas and jet bridges designed "to improve the airline’s operational performance and overall customer experience."
