Delta launches new Heathrow route
Delta Air Lines is launching a new nonstop flight between Heathrow Airport and Salt Lake City on April 24.
The flight, which will be the only service linking London and the state capital of Utah, will operate year-round.
"We are committed to expanding our UK network and the Salt Lake City flight opens up a whole new area of the United States for Delta’s British customers," said Dwight James, senior vice president, trans-Atlantic.
Salt Lake City is Delta’s eighth destination served nonstop from London Heathrow and the flight will operate daily throughout the summer then up to four times weekly in winter, from October 29, 2016.
