Delta launches second daily Atlanta flight
Delta Air Lines will launch a second daily flight from London Atlanta tomorrow, offering onward flights to more than 150 destination throughout the US, Latin America and the Caribbean.
The new daily service departs Heathrow at 9.45hrs, arriving into Atlanta at 14.20hrs. From Atlanta, the return flight departs at 18.00hrs and arrives at Heathrow at 7.30hrs the next day.
"Heathrow is the preferred airport for business travellers flying between London and Atlanta, and with a second daily flight we are now offering more than 1000 flat-bed seats each week on this route," said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior vice president – Europe, Middle East and Africa.
"Additionally with the opening of the new international terminal (in Atlanta) just weeks away, connecting passengers will soon benefit from a state-of-the-art facility offering smoother transfers to hundreds of destinations."
Delta’s second daily Atlanta flight will be operated by a 246-seat Boeing 767-400ER aircraft, offering 39 flat-bed seats in BusinessElite and 28 seats in Economy Comfort – Delta’s premium economy cabin product.
