Essential Functions
This position is a Director role with regional responsibilities. Working with the distribution sales group and responsible for driving the distribution of new channels as well as program and content licensing.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
– Drive subscription based sales in key territories to cable, satellite, mobile and broadband distribution platforms.
– Identify ancillary licensing opportunities.
– Collaborate with affiliates marketing to recommend and execute customer growth and retention strategies.
– Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales activity, revenue, client analysis, etc for management as required.
– Regional Travel.
The Candidate
– Degree qualified.
– Media industry sales and business development experience is essential. Prior experience in TV distribution preferred.
– Strong communicator and sales skills.
– Strong business sense and influencing skills.
– Meticulous attention to detail, and ability to process and prioritize duties.
– Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and be resourceful.
– Energetic, with a high level of creativity and demonstrated initiative.
