Disney says its Port Adventures more varied than ever

Monday, 08 Dec, 2009 0

Disney Cruise Line says next year it will offer the “most diverse itineraries in the line’s history on Mediterranean, Northern European, Caribbean and Bahamian routes.”

“Disney is working closely with local tour operators to create family-friendly Port Adventures that allow guests to experience these culturally rich and exotic locales,” the company says in a press release.

Port Adventures are designed for both children and adults.

Many trips offer complimentary snacks and beverages. “Fun Port” journals are provided for kids.

Some tours also integrate separate activities for children and adults.

For the 2010 European season, each itinerary will include at least one tour that features distinctly Disney touches such as characters.

Itineraries also will showcase authentic cultural experiences in upscale settings, the company says.

At some tours, local history and stories are brought to life by Disney characters.
