Disney unveils design for new gondola aerial transport system
Disney has teased details of its proposed Disney Skyliner transportation system linking some parks and resorts.
It will be a ski lift style gondola system with cabin exteriors adorned with iconic Disney characters according to the first images published on the official Disney Parks blog.
The system takes guests from Epcot to Hollywood Studios via various Disney resorts.
Skyliner stations will be situated at International Gateway at Epcot, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will share a station.
A turn-station for the gondola system will be located at Buena Vista Drive.
Construction is already underway but no opening date has been disclosed yet.
