Djokovic, Tomic head for Perth Arena
Australia’s top-ranked male player Bernard Tomic and reigning Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic have been confirmed for the Hopman Cup tennis tournament in Perth from December 29 to January 5.
World No.2 Djokovic returns to Perth for the third time in the past five years to partner world No.12 Ana Ivanovic.
Djokovic said the tournament would provide a great preparation for the Australian Open in Melbourne starting in mid-January.
This year the Hopman Cup moves to the new Perth Arena and is operating with Tennis Australia’s involvement.
