Doing business class on the cheap?

Tuesday, 07 Oct, 2004 0

Cheapflights.com is adding discount business class fares with domestic and international offerings from consolidators, specialists, travel Web sites and low-cost carriers.

Cheapflights, a well-known company for discount air deals and bargain airfares, says deals typically reserved for corporate and business accounts are also available for individuals.

Said President Hugo Burge:

“Lower business class fares are an extension of our principle to help consumers find the right deal and most relevant company to purchase air travel in a market where it can be difficult to know where to turn.”

Cheapflights is different from other sites because there is no software to download and it allows user to search Hotwire, Priceline, Travelocity and Orbitz without re-entering preferred travel dates, according to Mr Burge.

He says the company also offers some prices discounted from an airline’s own Web site.

Cheapflights provides access to more than 15,000 business class deals through partnerships with specialists such as Access Fares and airlines such as Spirit.
