Dolphin Dynamics adds MyTravelLite to FlightScanner

Saturday, 16 Aug, 2002 0

Dolphin Dynamics has announced that MyTravelLite will be the latest no frills carrier to be featured on its FlightScanner search engine.

FlightScanner is a Web based search engine that allows travel agents to enter their search criteria in a single screen, returning real time fares and availability for multiple no frills carriers not accessible in the GDS. Buzz, EasyJet, Go, RyanAir and Virgin Express are already featured.

The company said the European travel agency community has enthusiastically adopted FlightScanner since its release in April. Over 1,500 European travel agencies have registered for it and over 10,000 users have used the system.

Dolphin Dynamics President, Roberto Da Re (left) said: “We have been very busy over the summer enhancing the product and you will see a new redesigned and improved version released very soon, plus more airlines, enhanced features and other interesting announcements.

“Usage of the system is growing steadily and with more and more emphasis put on no frills carriers, travel agents need to be able to quickly find the information necessary to give them an edge over Internet savvy customers and to enable them to service corporate customers who always expect the best deal.”

Travel agents can visit www.flightscanner.biz and register to use the search engine for free for a limited time. ABTA members will get immediate access to the system while non ABTA members will need to be contacted to validate that they are indeed a travel agent.
