About Just a Drop
Just a Drop brings sustainable clean water solutions, sanitation facilities and knowledge of safe hygiene practices to communities around the world. We are currently working on projects focused in Cambodia, India, Kenya, Nicaragua, Uganda and Zambia.
Clean safe water changes everything. It improves health, education, women’s rights, leads to secure food sources, income generation and brighter futures. It completely transforms lives.
We work hand-in-hand with local communities to implement the best solutions for their needs, such as rainwater harvesting systems, hand-dug and drilled wells, sand dams, water distribution systems, biosand filters, latrines, and sanitation and hygiene training.
Our work is evolving… we have begun to support communities further through our food security, governance and micro-finance programmes. As communities lift themselves out of the poverty trap, lives are transformed, in particular those of women and children.
We have reached over 1.3 million people in 32 countries since we began in 1998.
