Drayton Manor runs April 1 birthday offer
Drayton Manor Theme Park is giving anyone with an April 1 birthday free entry, and says it’s no April Fool’s joke.
The park, in Tamworth, Staffordshire, is running the offer as part of celebrations for its 65th anniversary on that date.
To qualify, visitors must show valid ID in the shape of a passport or photo driving licence.
Drayton Manor opened in 1950 with just one restaurant, a tea-room, three hand-operated rides, rowing boats, pedal cars and a set of second-hand dodgems.
The family-owned park plans a year of themed events and activities to mark its birthday.
