Dusit bolsters sales and marketing leadership

Hotel group Dusit has strengthened its sales and marketing leadership teams with two key promotions.
 
The Thailand based company has announced the appointments of Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk as vice president of sales, and Michael Leong as VP of marketing.
 
Ms Tantiprasertsuk will lead sales functions for the group after serving as general manager of landmark property Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket Resort.
 
She will  head up activices for MICE sales, OTA channels, and oversee global sales offices, hotel sales, and revenue management.
 
Leong, previously assistant vice president of branding, loyalty and digital marketing, will take charge of the Dusit Gold loyalty program as well as branding, digital marketing and reservations functions.
 
Leong joined Dusit in 2015 from Shangri-La where he was vice president of digital marketing.
 
"With over 45 properties now in the pipeline worldwide, Dusit International is about to embark on a period of unprecedented growth which will present many challenges and opportunities," said Dusit COO Boon Kwee.
 
"To combat the former and embrace the latter, our sales and marketing departments will each play a key role in supporting our sustainable development. I am delighted we have been able to promote Ms Tantiprasertsuk and Mr Leong from within the company, and I now look forward to working with them both."
