Dusit debuting new Asai brand in Bangkok
Thai hotel group Dusit has announced Bangkok’s Chinatown as the location for the debut of new millennial focused brand Asai.
It inked an agreement with I Am Chinatown Co., Ltd to operate Asai Bangkok Chinatown.
The property is slated to open in early 2020 with 224 rooms.
The hotel will have large communal social space, a fitness centre, and a bar.
There will also be a pop-up restaurant concept showcasing curated food selections from Bangkok restaurants Appia, Peppina and Soul Food Mahanakorn.
"The hotel is perfectly positioned to capture the attention of millennial-minded travellers, and establish our presence in the affordable lifestyle market," said Suphajee Suthumpun, Group CEO, Dusit International.
So far Dusit has signed five more Asai properties, with a second coming to Bangkok, three launching in Cebu, Philippines and one in Yangon, Myanmar.
