Dusit International adding another Bangkok hotel

Dusit International is expanding in Thai capital Bangkok with a new build upscale hotel.
 
The firm has signed an agreement to manage dusitD2 Chaengwattana in the north of the city near Don Mueang Airport.
 
It will have 200 rooms and suites spread over 23 floors.
 
Planned amenities include a rooftop restaurant, pool and bar, fitness centre, and extensive function space.
 
The hotel is set to open its doors in 2020.
 
"The new hotel will provide a comfortable, stylish and convenient option for leisure and business travellers alike, and should prove especially attractive for exhibitors at the nearby convention centre. The hotel will also be an ideal venue for meetings in its own right, with state-of-the-art facilities allowing us to cater for a wide range of events," said Dusit International group chief executive officer, Suphajee Suthumpun.
 
Dusit International currently operates 29 properties globally and has an additional 51 developments slated to open in the next three years.
