Dusit signs first Malaysia hotel
Dusit Hotels and Resorts is set to debut in Malaysia in 2026.
In partnership with Gamuda Land, Dusit will manage ASAI Gamuda Cove in Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands.
Spanning 1,530 acres, the Gamuda Cove area will also include residential and commercial zones beside the already operational SplashMania Waterpark and Discovery Park.
Kuala Lumpur airport is only 20 minutes away by car, and downtown KL can be reached in just 40 minutes.
The first Malayisia hotel will cater to both domestic and international travellers.
The hotel will have 280 keys and is the first hotel signed under Dusit’s expanded ‘ASAI Tropical’ model, which are properties located in areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Hotel amenities include dining venues, an infinity pool and event spaces.
“We are delighted to partner with Gamuda Land to help bring their vision for their first-ever hotel project to life,” said Gilles Cretallaz, COO, Dusit International.
As well as the first Malaysia hotel, Dusit’s property portfolio spans 19 countries and 56 hotels under Dusit Hotels and Resorts.
Additionally, there are approximately 240 luxury villas in the Elite Havens portfolio.
