Dusit signs Hanoi hotel
Thai hotel group Dusit International is checking into Hanoi with a new lakefront hotel.
It signed an agreement with developer General Technology JSC to develop the 207-room Dusit Tu Hoa Palace, Hanoi.
It is situated on the shore of West Lake and will have a combination of Thai and Vietnamese design features.
"As a destination, Hanoi keeps going from strength to strength. With this in mind, now is the perfect time to expand our operations in Vietnam’s capital city," said Lim Boon Kwee, Dusit International COO.
Amenities planned for Dusit Tu Hoa Palace, Hanoi include an all-day dining restaurant, rooftop bar, meeting space and a swimming pool.
Hanoi welcomed more than six million foreign arrivals in the first 11 months of 2019, which is up 12% year-on-year.
The Dusit portfolio features more than 300 properties operating under six brands in 15 countries.
