E-sim card Kolet integrates three major airlines in its partnership
Kolet, which aims to reinvent travel connectivity with its universal eSIM, has announced three major partnerships.
The news underscores Kolet’s rapid rise in the travel-tech space. Fresh off a $10 million funding round and integrations with Air France-KLM, Kiwi.com, Hopper, and Exoticca, the company continues to draw new allies. Adding to that momentum, two industry veterans — Peter Kern, former global CEO of Expedia, and Jon Gieselman, former Global VP of Marketing at Apple — have also joined Kolet’s cap table. Their backing brings both credibility and strategic firepower to help scale Kolet’s adoption worldwide.
Launched in early 2024, Kolet offers a 100% digital eSIM with no physical card, no hidden fees, and one-click activation. Its B2B2C model has struck a chord with airlines, OTAs, and tour operators, who now embed Kolet into their booking flows to give customers instant roaming-free connectivity upon arrival in more than 190 countries.
Each traveler receives 1GB of free data valid for two days, redeemable through a co-branded website, email, or directly within the booking flow. The Kolet app makes installation seamless, with automatic network switching, 24/7 support, and a sustainability-first design. Any unused data can be carried over to future trips.
Three New Partners, Two Continents
With Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer program, members now receive 1GB of complimentary data wherever the airline flies. They also earn 2 KrisFlyer miles for every US dollar spent with Kolet. The service is being promoted through KrisFlyer’s loyalty portals, inflight magazines, and newsletters.
Vietnam Airlines and Corendon Airlines (Turkey) have also named Kolet as a preferred partner. The integration is visible at multiple customer touchpoints — banners in the booking process, post-purchase emails, push notifications, and inflight magazines. Dedicated co-branded platforms (vietnamairlines.shop.kolet.com and corendon.shop.kolet.com) allow travelers to claim their free data. Lotusmiles, Vietnam Airlines’ loyalty program, offers an additional 10 bonus miles per US dollar spent with Kolet.

Closing the Connectivity Gap
Kolet’s founders saw an opportunity where telecom operators had overlooked the travel segment. For passengers, staying offline abroad is stressful and isolating; for travel providers, lack of direct connectivity limits communication, service, and engagement.
By bridging that gap, Kolet positions itself as both a utility and a loyalty driver. Already integrated with names like MakeMyTrip, Wego, and Evaneos, the startup is pushing toward becoming a new travel standard.
“Connectivity has become a key lever for loyalty and customer satisfaction,” said Kolet CEO Eduardo Ronzano. “These partnerships prove that airlines and travel brands see mobile connectivity not just as a perk, but as an essential part of the journey.”
With more than 70% of travelers still switching their phones to airplane mode abroad, Kolet is betting its universal eSIM will turn staying connected into the default travel experience.
