EasyJet flight avoids runway disaster by one second

An easyJet flight came within a second of careering off the end of a runway after a near-catastrophic misjudgement by pilots.
Air accident investigators found the Airbus A320 with 167 passengers on board had only 110m of runway left when it departed from Lisbon Airport, clearing a perimetre fence by barely 10m.
