EasyJet operations boss stands down
EasyJet’s operations chief has resigned. The airline says Peter Bellew left ‘to pursue other business opportunities’ amid weeks of delays and cancellations
EasyJet boss Johan Lundgren said the airline remains ‘absolutely focused on delivering a safe and reliable operation this summer.’
Current director of flight operations David Morgan becomes interim chief operations officer.
EasyJet has been one of the worst hit airlines, cancelling thousands of flights, including dozens at the last-minute on the day of departure.
