EasyJet pilot launches campaign to trace owner of teddy bear
An easyJet pilot has started a social media campaign to find the owner of a much loved teddy bear left in the aircraft cabin.
Captain Matthew Clutterbuck, who has young children of his own, is now taking pictures of the bear and intends to use Twitter and Facebook to try and reunite the bear with its owner.
It is believed the bear was left on the Bordeaux to Luton flight on December 20.
The Captain has named the bear Shackleton after the famous intrepid explorer.
"I can understand how attached children are to their favourite toys and so know how distraught children can be when they lose them and just how stressful if can be for the parents as a result," said Clutterbuck.
"Hopefully with a bit momentum behind the search on social media we’ll be able to give the child somewhere a late Christmas present."
